• Not Making Ice: This is when the ice maker simply fails to make ice. Common reasons are water supply issues, frozen or clogged water lines, or even problems with the thermostat.
• Leaking Water: When an ice-maker leaks, water can pool and freeze inside the unit or ice bin. Typically this is caused by damaged water lines, water valve/supply issues, and/or cracks in the ice mold itself.
• Low Production or Harvesting Problems: If ice maker quantity is lower than normal or it simply won't harvest new ice as expected, investigate problems with the water supply, including a blockage or kink, or even low pressure. Harvesting issues tend to relate to temperature sensing, ice buildup around ejector arms or others.

• Ice Maker Freezing Up: The ice maker can sometimes freeze up, preventing the ice from ejecting properly. Ice buildup around the ejector's arm, a faulty motor module, or an issue with the defrost system can cause this problem.
• Overfilling or Not Turning Off: Ice makers that continuously produce ice or won't shut off as designed typically have issues with their sensor, their termination arm or even their control board.
